Final Blogger Reflection

1   The paragraph above I have chosen because it best shows my writing voice out of the blogs I have written this trimester. Some of the words or phrases that shows my writers voice are love, wonderful, “I will love and be grateful”, “because I really love books”. These words or phrases show my personality in my writing well. I really love to read books on my free time so it tells you that I really love books. Also I use casual diction like wonderful and grateful this shows my personality because I use those words in the real world. I directly put my every day words on the paper and that is voice.

2    In my passage I used a lot of diction but not much syntax but I still have some. Some syntax that I have in my writing is the sentence length; I have the same length of sentences all through my blog post. They length of the sentences range from 9 to 15 words per sentence. “I am nearing the end of your wonderful story called the Ender's Game” this sentence is 9 words. “Back stories always are very good because it tell you how there life is” this sentence is 14 words. One diction technique I used a lot was low/informal diction. Some examples are wonderful, grateful, hanging, and chair. All of these words you could change into more formal synonyms of the word. I did this because it is a friendly letter and the reader doesn't want to be confused with words they never heard of in a friendly letter.

What I plan to read Next

The next book I will read is going to be a book with alot of action in it. I want to read a book like this because I loved the Ender's Game. I think most kids like books with action because they  don't get bored.  It was chalk full of action and suspense that fueled me to keep reading. I think that the Alex Rider series will keep me fueled to keep reading the book and the series. I all ready have read the first two books of the series. What kind of books are you reading? If you finished your book what will you read next?

My letter to Orson Scott Card

Dear Orson Scott Card,
I am nearing the end of your wonderful story called the Ender's Game. You have giving me something I will love and be grateful that I have read your book. I was hanging on the edge of my chair the whole book. Some of my thoughts about the book are why does it take place in space. Space is such a written about subject so why did you write in space. An opinion that  I have is that I think that you should have took more time to explain the back story because I really love books with interesting back stories. Back stories always are very good because it tell you how there life is.  I think you did a remarkable way in describing the setting of the space station and everything you have put in this book. I believe or thing you should write a squeal because I would really want to read that book. I hope you write another book.
                                                                                                           Sincerely, Tyler Chumney
